A Different Way to Face Your Fears: Focus On What Could Go RIGHT!!
Criticism hurts–and it doesn’t matter if it’s coming from another person or the voices in your own head. It all sucks.
(Now constructive criticism that comes from a place of love and respect, that’s different, and should at least be considered when it’s given to us!)
Are your goals so big they’re a little scary? So big that you’re genuinely worried what other people might say about you? Or TO you? Maybe there’s Imposter Syndrome going on. Maybe you take it all to heart when people tell you that you won’t make it, that you’re not good enough.
Maybe you say that stuff to yourself…
Today I want to challenge you to look at what could go RIGHT rather than what might go wrong–because you never know. It could go either way, right? So why waste more energy on the possible negative outcomes than we need to?
I have a little tactic for you to try, to help you tap into that empowerment and excitement, and to stop giving so much weight to others’ opinions.
