Meditation is an amazing way to boost your confidence. By learning to really connect to yourself, you discover who you are, get comfortable with who you want to be, and realize your true potential.
Meditation helps you slow down, improve your mood, and really be present.
But of course, meditation can seem intimidating or out of reach:
- We’re busy
- We don’t like to or simply can’t sit still
- We don’t want to be alone with our thoughts
- We’re afraid we can’t quiet our thoughts
- We’re unsure what to even do in the first place
That’s why I love guided meditations!
Each of the meditations in this collection (with the exception of the 2-minute bell meditation) is guided, which means I lead you through what to focus on, what to visualize…what to DO!
There are a few things you should know when it comes to the TRUTH about meditation:
- You can’t do it wrong!
- You don’t need to quiet or stop your thoughts. In fact, that’s impossible–we have over 70,000 thoughts per day! Meditation will instead help you learn to slow them down, and to focus on the positive ones more often than the negative ones.
- You don’t need to sit in any weird positions (unless you want to!)
- You don’t need to chant or say anything aloud (unless you want to!)
- You don’t need to incorporate religion or spirituality (unless you want to!)
- You don’t need to do it for an hour (unless you want to!)
The meditations in this collection range from 2-10 minutes long. There’s no right order to do them in!
Here’s what’s included:
–2-Minute Bell Meditation: The only non-guided meditation. It is simply a bell that rings every so often over 2 minutes to help you start training yourself to reign in your thoughts, come back to yourself, and remain focused.
–Mini Mindfulness Meditation: What I see as the next step after the bell meditation. We start learning to connect to the breath and simply slow down.
–Train of Thought Meditation: Learning to detach from your thoughts, slow them down, and choose which ones you “hop onto.”
–Body Awareness Meditation: An exercise in being grateful for the amazing machine that your body is and learning to love yourself.
–Candle Meditation: Learning to focus and be present, as well as igniting your passion and beginning to connect to your true self.
–Sleep Meditation: A relaxing meditation to help prepare you for restful sleep, which is necessary for a positive mood in the morning, which is necessary for confidence!
–Gratitude Meditation: A gratitude practice is crucial for maintaining a positive mindset and being open to abundance.
–Loving Kindness Meditation: A meditation to help you to practice being kind both to others and YOURSELF.
–Anger Meditation: A meditation that helps you understand that it is okay and necessary to experience all of your feelings, but remembering that you don’t need to stay there. A practice in releasing.
–Release and Surrender Meditation: The next step in practicing releasing. If you are holding onto any grief, anger, frustration, sadness, etc., this one can be very helpful in learning to accept what is so that you can take the next steps in your life.
–Self-Inquiry Meditation: A meditation that repeatedly questions you: “Who am I?”
–Mountain Meditation: A meditation to remind you of your strength, and that no matter what happens in your life…you are always YOU.
I know from experience that if you make meditation a regular part of your routine, you will experience a boost in positivity. Your mindset will improve, which will help you remain open to abundance.
- When your mindset is positive and open, your ability to be confident skyrockets!
- When you are comfortable with who you are, your drive to go after your goals can be unstoppable!
- When you’re taking action toward your goals, your confidence naturally increases!
